"Journalism, Ethics, and Responsibility to the Political Process."

Monday, 25 October, 7 PM   -    A Forum with Ray Hartman and Ed Bishop.
Saint Peters City Hall, One Saint Peters Centre Blvd, Saint Peters, MO
Cost: Free

Ethics is made most possible in a land of freedom and democracy.  Democracy is only as good as the quality of information we have.  Is our press still free?  Are we citizens getting the independent news that we need to keep America free?

Ray Hartmann, Ed Bishop, and Bob Greenwell (Leader, Ethical Society) will speak and participate in a panel discussion with the audience.

Ray Hartmann is known for his outspoken views on the television show "Donnybrook."  He is founder and former editor of The Riverfront Times.  Ed Bishop is Editor and General Manager of the St. Louis Journalism Review, stationed at Webster University.  Both have extensive experience with the challenges of journalism and the interaction with politics.

Bob Greenwell is Leader of Ethical Society Mid Rivers, carrying on its tradition of nonpartisan political-social-ethical commentary.

The program is offered to the community free of charge by the Ethical Society.
The program is planned to end at 8:50 p.m., leaving about 40 minutes of time for socializing and networking with speakers and guests.

Refreshments provided.
